The troublesome youth flaunted “unacceptable behavior”. Unacceptable being smoking, drinking, sex and…(gasp) driving. The end of World War I gave birth to these party loving, swing dancing, free spirits. This demure flapper can`t help but to do the Charleston even though she has already kicked off her heels for the night. Her bobbed hair curls out from beneath her roaring 20`s hat, which was a popular style of the Jazz obsessed era. Her dress shimmies as she moves. It is a brown and gold patina . A matching brown sash loops around her back. 100% bronze and handmade, this sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and mounted on a marble base and is signed T.d Guirande.
