American Flyer No Number Loco with Whistle Prewar O Gauge X7199

Description

Un-numbered black enameled metal loco with copper and brass trim, has mechanical whistle, made mid 1930’s. Loco has 1-directional electric motor, 9” long, looks similar to a 3303. It is missing front pony truck, not supposed to have a rear, has some touch-up/repainting, some dents in copper top domes. It is also missing drive-rods. Motor ran very sluggish, but got better with cleaning and use. It requires high-speed to activate whistle, made a high-pitch sound, but did not toot-toot. As is, no operation warranty, loco only, no tender.

Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation.
