Japanese Meiji silver box, ca 1890. Rectangular with hinged cover. Plain flat rims and allover spot hammering. On cover applied dragon-all fangs, talons, and horns-the scaly coiled body ready to unfurl and strike. A second beast wraps around the sides. Marked.
