Antique Chinese Export Solid Silver Salt Cellar with Dragons

Description

Up for auction is an original chinese export hexagonal shaped silver salt cellar or dish. Each panel of the hexagon is chased with an intricate foliate pattern and the corners are buttressed by dragons which are cast in very fine detail.
This dish bears a stamped makers mark in chinese characters which is the mark for Tu Mao Xing.
The dish is 56mm across the widest part and 28mm tall and weighs 20 g.
A fine piece of chinese export silver.
