Beautifully Chased c1905 Southeast Asian Silver Serving Bowl/Dish
Presented is a marvelous, Southeast Asia silver bowl or dish. This piece was purchased in a lot with 13 other Southeast Asia silver pieces that were acquired by a man named Charles Vogel in 1905. This piece is from Southeast Asia and it is very decorative. The whole piece is completely hand chased with animals surrounded by flowers and embellishments. The underside is finely engraved with the image of a goddess or deity.
This piece is guaranteed to be at least .850 purity silver.
This bowl is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There are some minor dings to the bottom rim but there are no other dents, no breaks, no splits and no repairs.
The piece measures 4 7/8 inches in diameter, is 3 1/2 inches tall and weighs 191 grams or 6.7 ounces.
