Jean Jules Cambos / Born April 28, 1828 Died May 2, 1917 . Jean Cambos entered the Ecole Nationale des Beaux - Arts in 1853 and had his Salon debut four years later .He had a brilliant career and was given many prestigious official commissions, including work for Versailles and the Academie Nationale de Musique. (Bronze) Diane Au Repos stands 35 1/4 inches tall . Shown in pictures you will see the Title plaque marked Diane Au Repos  par  Cambos Exp on Des Beaux - Arts Madille O' Or . On the base ,right side you will see the bronze garartie seal (Paris) along with the J Cambos signature. Now in the pictures on the back lower right side base you will see Tiffany & Co. stamped . Supposeely  commissioned by Tiffany's. This  Bronze Sculpture we believe was in Tiffany's 1898 exhibition. The plinth Diane stands upon is a Mahogany Marble with Ammonite Fossil.
