Carl Sorensen a Verdigris Patinated Footed Bronze Bowl With Lid Signed

Beautiful bronze covered Bowl, w/ finial. Designer Carl Sorensen. A metal worker in bronze and copper who had a shop in Philadelphia about 1914 and became noted for his arts and crafts-style and later in his Art Deco metal work. He often worked in Copper, making hand-hammered pieces, recognized by their verdigris patina. His small bronzes are rarer, and they are marked on the base with the typical CS bronze Mark and Carl Sorenson in script.
