    antique french bronze sculpture.
    Superb French Bronze Sculpture, ‘Le Pecheur Napolitan’ cast after the model by Francois Rude (1784-1855) modelled as a young boy playing with a Turtle, by Ferdinand Barbedienne. Marked to base ‘F Barbedienne Fondeur’ and with seal for Achille Collas. Marked ’24’ to underside.
    Third quarter 19th century.
    Excellent condition.
