    Fine 19th century Antique European Miniature Bronze Statue signed FRANZ SAUTNER (AUSTRIAN, 1872-1945)
    In most European cultures, rabbits are springtime animals, symbolic of fruitfulness, renewal and, good luck. I suppose that's why the lad in this bronze is clearly pleased with his catch; then again he might just be hungry.

    - the "K" within a horseshoe mark is from an unknown Austrian foundry
