    Description

    Fine 19th century Antique European French Miniature Bronze Statue
    Although unsigned, the nice detail, lifelike proportions, the expressive facial expression and the method of attachment to the marble point towards an artist and/or European foundry that produced high quality bronzes.  It is likely that this lad was part of a set with a mark on another piece.
    - Finely cast bronze on mounted on a marble base
    - The figure is proportionate with a lifelike facial expression
    - excellent patina with very little wear
    -  nick to edge of base (see last picture)
    - from an old private collection
    - nice quality for a miniature
