    Description

    Here is a great original antique gilt metal (I think brass or bronze) button hook from Japan, it has a pattern of flowers and leaves. It is 6.5" long and is marked by the maker as shown in the photos.  I was told the following:
    正山 Reading the name is either Shōyama or Masayama and i
    t can probably be dated to the end of 19th or beginning of 20th centuries.
    There is normal wear from age, see the photos. Buyer pays .50 shipping within the US.
