    Description

    Japanese Silver & Enamel Filigree Vase Meiji Period Late 19th Century
    of ovoid shape diamond form, Antique Japanese Filigree Silver & enamel bud vase with elongated neck, pierced vase body decorated with leaf & scroll-work design, applied with various flower heads, a rose, chrysanthemum, cherry blossom, chamomile. The diamond base ornamented with applied wired silver & enamel flowers, depicting rusty red, aquamarine blue, yellow & orange colors. Prolonged removable cylindrical tube insert placed with-in center. Overall very good condition, no major damage to the filigree wiring, minor dents, minor enamel loss, item unmarked, tested for silver with 18k acid.
