    A very nice, very lightly run,
    Lionel 38238 NJ Transit Dual Motor GP-40 Diesel #4302 with TrainSounds
    for
    O/027 gauge 3-rail made in 2012-13 as part of the 30185 NJ Transit work train freight set.
    This is the best of the conventional NT Transit GPs and features
    conventional transformer control with 3 position (Fwd-Neutral-Rev) electronic reversing with lock switch, dual "maintenance-free" can motors, 8 wheel drive with 4 traction tires, heavy metal frame & railings, TrainSounds RTR with Horn, Bell, Diesel Motor & Crew-Tower dialog sounds with on/off switch, directional headlights (when moving), 2 crewmen figures and crisp NJ Transit colors & graphics.
    I checked the tires and lubed the gears & rollers then
    briefly tested this sharp & strong engine on my layout and the motors, directional headlamps, reverse unit and all sounds worked great!
    ***Note: Transformer (or separate) Whistle/Horn and Bell controls are required to activate the Horn, Bell and Crew dialog sounds, engine motor sounds do not require any controls***
    This engine comes with the original box, foam insert, extra set of traction tires & copy of the Lionel engine instructions and
    I'll wrap & pack with care prior to shipment.
