    Description

    Lionel No. 299E / 2689T "Lionel Lines" 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive, Gunmetal Gray.
    The engine and tender are both complete.  The engine is in excellent plus condition.  The gunmetal finish and chrome trim are very bright and clean. The tender is in very good plus condition.  The gunmetal finish is bright and clean, but the tender has some paint wear on the front end near the roof.
    The engine was tested and it runs very smoothly.  The reverse unit and headlight work.  The tender does not have a whistle.  The tender has an early-style operating box coupler.  The trucks are very clean.
