    This unique Heart-shaped
    Lost Wax Cast Brass Box
    was handmade by a talented artist in
    Rajasthan, India
    .  It's made of solid brass and constructed using the primitive "lost wax cast" process similarly used in some jewelry-making.  The actual age of the box is unknown.  It measures 5.5 inches in width, by 4 inches in height.  Great for holding a candle, potpourri, Jewelry or anything else you can think of.  The color is a warm bronze patina, with polished brass highlights.
