MTH 30-1125-1 RailKing Southern Crescent 4-6-2 Pacific Steam Locomotive & Tender This attractive pair was offered by MTH in 1997. It features precision flywheel equipped motor, all metal wheels & gears, compatible with most AC transformers, DCRU electronic reverse by QSI, equipped with electronic whistle, die-cast intricately detailed body, weighs approximately 8 pounds, measures approximately 18 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 3 1/2", operating die-cast metal coupler, operating Proto-Smoke system, die-cast tender coal load, detailed cab interior, operating headlight and will operate with "O27" & "O" gauge Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Williams, and others and is optionally equipped with ProtoSound, squeaking brakes and Passenger Sounds. Locomotive is in like new to near mint condition with its box, box insert and instruction booklet .Locomotive has a new conventional nine-volt battery in it, so you may want to replace it with a rechargeable type ni-cad battery as suggested by manufacturer. I used the conventional battery to test it, as the locomotive has been sitting a long while and its original ni-cad battery was not charged. It can recharged in the locomotive or via a charger. I do not have a charger and I did not have time to charge it in the locomotive. Please email with questions.
