NICE POSTWAR LIONEL 627 44-TON DIESEL SWITCHER - RUNS & REVERSES

Description

Decent original postwar Lionel 627 Lehigh Valley GE 44-ton switcher. 1956 - 1957.
Runs and reverses pretty well but could use a tune-up.
Cab is complete with light surface scratches but no cracks and nothing broken.
Screw hole is NOT cracked.
White lettering on cab sides and stripes are very nice. Frame is OK.
Someone added some mini-lights in the headlight holes and a light for inside the cab (these never had lights) and they will work if you connect the wires.
One-axle magne-traction is strong. A great operator.

Returns ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED DUE TO eBay policy of requiring at least 30 days for returns which is
ridiculous for vintage items. eBay allows returns for any item that does not meet its description so you are still protected.
