Here we have one U.S. Naval Heavy Frigate, U.S.S. Constitution, otherwise known as Old Ironsides Salvaged Bronze.
The salvaged bronze material was turned into a bookend.
A unique piece of U.S history for sure.
The bronze was salvaged from the ship in 1927.
The lead and copper weight removes easily if needed.
This piece can be displayed as a collectible statue as well.
You get item pictured, one bookend.

USS Constitution, also known as
Old Ironsides
, is a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world's oldest ship of any type still afloat. She was launched in 1797, one of six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794 and the third constructed.
Vintage items have been loved by the previous owner, but please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections, I will do my best to list and or picture them (as pics are also part of the description). I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
