Vintage, Colorado Bucking Bronco Sculpture. Bronze and Marble. MidCentury &box

Way back in 1989, my wife and I stayed at a campsite near Colorado Springs. We went to the camp office early one day and the man who owned the place showed us a display case full of rings, pendants, pins and this paper weight/souvenir. He told us that he had purchased the campsite business recently and that the seller also had this case from the 1950s.
We didn't have much money but we bought this and a lovely turquoise ring. Everything in the case was beautiful. I wish I could have bought the whole case.
The metal on this is bronze and the base is Italian marble. The marble base is 2 inches, by 2 inches, by 3/4 inches. The bottom of it has a nice felt fabric. The medallion is copper enamel. Beautiful! Well crafted.
If you love Colorado or just love beautiful things, this will speak to your heart. The bronze carving is nicely detailed and, I have to say, the rider looks a little like Elvis. I think it's the hair.
